Good Year Welt

Footwear experts assure that the unique "GoodYear" sewing process is the best method for manufacturing a good shoe. At first the shoes may feel stiff but after being worn in, they soon become the most comfortable shoes on the market.

The "GoodYear Welt" system is essentially a double inside to outside stitching which joins the leather to the base and gives the shoe unmatchable resistance and durability. The inside stitching process or welting holds the upper leather to the insole and the welt while the outside stitching holds the upper to the sole. A layer of agglomerated cork, which acts as a thermal insulator, is then placed between the two parts in which the shoe is thus divided.
